Where Theory Meets Practice: SEPPES Doors' Yang Yuanjia and Dr. Guo Xianqiang Discuss New Cross-Border E-Commerce Opportunities at Dongchuang Technology Park
A themed sharing session on cross-border e-commerce was recently held at Dongchuang Technology Park. Yang Yuanjia, Chairman of SEPPES Doors, was invited to attend and share the stage with Dr. Guo Xianqiang, founder of the E-Commerce Department at Henan University of Science and Technology and a master's supervisor. Together, they delivered a session that combined strategic perspective with practical value for dozens of business guests and industry professionals, generating an enthusiastic response.
As the business practice speaker, Chairman Yang focused on cross-border e-commerce in foreign trade helping Chinese manufacturing reach global markets. Drawing on the company's development journey, he explained how SEPPES Doors has used cross-border e-commerce to advance brand globalization. According to Yang, SEPPES Doors has seized the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce in recent years, broken the limitations of traditional foreign trade, and successfully exported its brand to more than 70 countries and regions through precise market positioning, high-quality products, and an efficient cross-border operating system. This has helped the company move from Made in China to Intelligent Manufacturing from China and further toward a Chinese global brand.

During his presentation, Yang analyzed industry trends, the policy environment, and changing global demand from a macro perspective. He also explained the strategic logic and core thinking behind a company's cross-border e-commerce layout. More importantly, he shared practical implementation plans and successful cases from SEPPES Doors' own operations. From platform selection and overseas market expansion to product R&D, supply chain optimization, overseas customer service systems, and global brand promotion, Yang openly shared the company's experience and lessons in cross-border e-commerce, giving participants practical references they could adapt and implement.

Dr. Guo then spoke on Understanding and Practicing New E-Commerce. As an early participant in China's internet industry, he previously worked for a well-known multinational biopharmaceutical company and has extensive experience in pharmaceutical management, e-commerce, and marketing. In recent years, he has focused on e-commerce teaching, research, and consulting, providing professional consulting and training support to more than 100 companies, including Nanjing University Press, Rongwei Home Appliances, Beifang Yongsheng, and Tianhaotai Rail Equipment. He brings both strong theoretical grounding and practical experience in helping companies transform through e-commerce.
In his talk, Dr. Guo examined the concept, characteristics, development models, and impact of new e-commerce on traditional companies. He noted that under the wave of digitalization, networked and socialized transformation has become inevitable. To help the audience better understand practical applications, he used several case studies, including a traditional machinery factory that broke through industry barriers and moved from offline dependence to online growth through new e-commerce. He also discussed companies in the health and pet products sectors that captured consumer upgrading trends through precise customer targeting, differentiated products, and social marketing systems, achieving rapid brand growth and greater market share.
The Dongchuang Technology Park cross-border e-commerce session was not only an exchange of industry experience, but also a deep meeting of theory and practice. Chairman Yang brought hands-on operating insights from an enterprise perspective, while Dr. Guo offered theoretical guidance and strategic direction from academic research and consulting. Their views complemented each other and created a valuable learning platform for participants, helping companies better understand current cross-border e-commerce trends, clarify their own transformation direction, and master practical operating strategies.

Participants said the session was rich in content and highly practical. Both SEPPES Doors' globalization experience and Dr. Guo's new e-commerce theory and case analysis offered strong inspiration. Many said they would apply what they learned to their own operations and actively explore new paths in cross-border e-commerce to support greater growth in global markets.
A representative of Dongchuang Technology Park said the park will continue building high-quality industry exchange platforms, inviting more industry leaders, experts, scholars, and outstanding company representatives to share experience and ideas. These efforts will empower companies in the park and the surrounding region, help more businesses transform and upgrade through cross-border e-commerce and other emerging models, and support high-quality local economic development.
